Department Store Ghost
Gallery / Exhibition
In the empty Hirsch Building at Leidseplein Amsterdam a contemporary interior is assembled reminiscent of the early days of this buidling; established as a famous and luxurious department store for fashion in the heart of Amsterdam in 1912.
During the transformation into the current Apple Store it served as an gallery for the work of fashion illustrator Piet Paris. Both an exhibition of the work and a shop where items could be bought.
The whole interior is assembled with precut perforated whiteboard and connected with only black ty-raps.
